The Android Operating System is Different

First, let’s start with the android operating system. As we all know, Vercon developed the first & the latest android 11 version smart bathroom mirror, that’s our K series smart mirror. Considering  the needs of the majority of customers, they need the latest android version to run their applications, our team decide to develop the latest android version to catering the customers & market’s need, after our efforts, many times’ testing, finally successfully implanted the latest version of Android, even higher than the version of Android phones, we are proud of it.

And for S series smart mirror with android 5, it still has its advantages, like high stability, after all, it has been used for many years and has been tested many times since came out. It is also a widely used version. If there is any problem, it can respond in time and give a solution. Can be seen that the Android 5 version is stable and popular.

We can’t give you an answer for which version is better, you can choose the right one based on your needs.

The Touch Display Screen Size is Different

Second, let’s talk about the touch screen size. Smart mirror also called touch mirror by some customers, and for a smart mirror, the major part maybe is the touch screen panel, it’s the place that you can interactive with the smart mirror.

S series smart mirror with 21.5inch touch display screen, can be the largest size of touch screen that we made for smart mirror, in the market, most smart mirror with 15.6inch touch screen.

And for K series mirror, we produce with 10.1inch touch screen size, not only for economic saving, but for GMS license apply in the near future. You might know that for commercial touch screen, Google haven’t make a list for above 10.1 inch to apply GMS license. If you want to make bigger touch screen size for K series mirror, it’s also acceptable, we are accept 15.6inch so far.

The UI Interface is Different

The third, you can see the interface between two styles smart mirror is totally different even both of them were developed by Vercon.

S series smart mirror with a circle in the right corner that support to control software inside the smart mirror, like led light turn on/off; opening YouTube to watching video; Doing health management....There are eight common Apps in the circle, Setting, Spotify, Amazon shipping, Google map; YouTube; ESPN news; Health management.

K series smart mirror that support you to customize your icon in the homepage, there are five apps in the homepage, you can delete or replace the other one as you like. It’s almost like your phone interface, free to add and delete by click the application.

The Mirror Size & Shape is Different

Fourth, let’s focus on the mirror’s appearance. For S series smart mirror, you all might familiar with those standard size, 500*700mm; 600*800mm; 700*900mm; 1000*700mm; 1200*800mm. No matter for square or rectangle shape, the size is fixed, it’s hard for us to make customized size&shape, even we can the cost is a little high. However, for K series smart mirror, we don’t this trouble, you are free to have any size you want as long as one side of the mirror won’t exceed 43 inches. Also you can have different shape you want, not only square or rectangle shape mirror, also oval, rhomboid and etc.

The R&D of K series smart mirror makes it more in line with the requirements of traditional LED mirrors, and can accept customized serve of different sizes and shapes, which will be loved by most customers.

The Position of Ambient LED Light is Different

The last part, we would like to discuss about the ambient light. It is important to illuminate the mirror and your face with specific lighting, especially during makeup application, shaving, haircuts, or other bathroom grooming routines.

S series smart mirror with the lighting in front of the mirror, and K series smart mirror with backlit LED lighted, as the name suggests, have the lights behind the mirror itself as opposed to in front. Backlit mirrors are often a preference for makeup application as the light provides a more true colour reflection.
